The cockpit and cabin are designed for your fishing and cruising comfort. The vessel is adapted to fish for all the species in our waters. We sail from the Orient by the Sea Marina at Orient Point, Long Island, NY.
The vessel is fully equipped with electronics that include: a Northstar 951 GPS and Furuno LC90 Loran C for navigation, Raytheon Pathfinder radar, Furuno 1100 depth recorder, VHF and UHF radios and a Roberston autopilot.
The COYOTE is fully equipped for safety equipment including a certified SOLAS A 8 person liferaft, 406 EPIRB, required life jackets for adults and children (children under 12 are required by NYS law to wear USCG approved life jackets while outside of the cabin), required fire extinguishers and for offshore trips individual immersion suits.
The Captains and crew: Captain Jim House is a USCG licensed, full time charter captain with over 25 years experience fishing inshore and offshore for the the varied species inhabiting our local waters. USCG licensed Captain Ron Lajda, who many of you may know, will run charters when Capt. Jim is not available and continue to serve as mate. Hospitable, knowledgeable mates, John Glaessgen and Dan Izzo will assist you and make your fishing trip comfortable and memorable.
